2008년 데뷔한 'DA PLUTO'는 현재 '쏜애플'의 기타리스트로 활동 중인 홍동균이 10대 시절부터
펑크/하드코어 씬에서 활동하며 알게 된 홍성민 (드럼), 최승원 (베이스), 최성민 (기타)과 함께 결성되었습니다.
펑크, 이모, 슈게이징, 포스트록 등 다양한 장르의 영향을 받은 이들이 2009년에 내놓은
첫 번째 EP "THE BROWN INSTRUMENTAL CREATURE"가 바이닐로 제작됩니다.
기존 트랙리스트의 유기성을 고려해 새로운 트랙 순서로 재구성했으며,
최근 10여 년 만에 리유니온을 통해 발표한 싱글 'Lately'와 'Sin'도 함께 수록했습니다.
Formed in 2008, 'DA PLUTO' is a band featuring Hong Dongkyun, currently the guitarist for 'THORNAPPLE,' along with Hong Sungmin (drums), Choi Seungwon (bass), and Choi Seongmin (guitar),
whom he met while playing in the punk and hardcore scene during his teenage years.
Drawing influence from genres like punk, emo, shoegaze, and post-rock, they released their debut EP, "THE BROWN INSTRUMENTAL CREATURE," in 2009, which is now being pressed on vinyl.
The tracklist has been restructured to enhance the original flow, and the vinyl edition also includes their recent reunion singles, 'Lately' and 'Sin', released after more than a decade.
